New AI Applications for Winter Cereals & Latest FarmAnalyzer™ Updates

Targeted Winter Cereal Analysis with FarmAnalyzer™

Following oilseed rape drilling, the focus is now shifting to winter cereals. Just in time for the start of the season, new AI applications for crop emergence and stand monitoring as well as weed mapping in winter cereals are now available in FarmAnalyzer™.

From quickly checking selected areas with SpotCheck™ to full-field analysis and ready-to-use Spot-Spraying maps, FarmAnalyzer™ helps you identify differences within the crop early and plan crop protection measures more precisely.

Get Started for Free: Crop Emergence and Stand Monitoring with SpotCheck™

How evenly has the crop emerged? Where are there gaps or areas that require closer attention?

With SpotCheck™, you can capture selected areas of your fields by drone and automatically analyse the imagery using our AI. Within minutes, you get an objective overview of the crop without having to map the entire field.

SpotCheck™ can be used to assess, among other things:

  • Crop emergence, development and stand density

  • Weed pressure

  • Gaps in the crop

  • Within-field variability

To launch the new applications, we are offering SpotCheck™ analyses for winter cereals free of charge.

Map Weeds and Apply Herbicides More Precisely

For a detailed analysis of the entire field, full-field mapping and Spot-Spraying maps are also available.

FarmAnalyzer™ automatically analyses high-resolution drone imagery and locates weeds across the field. Based on the results, application maps can then be created for site-specific herbicide application.

This allows you to treat the areas where action is actually required instead of spraying the entire field uniformly. Especially with high input costs, this can make herbicide applications more cost-effective and efficient.

To launch the new winter cereal applications, we are offering full-field analyses and Spot-Spraying maps at an attractive introductory price.

Tip for autumn drone flights:

Make sure there is sufficient light to avoid unnecessary repeat flights. Under heavy cloud cover or shortly before dusk, conditions may already be too dark for suitable image acquisition. Do not set your camera’s ISO above 400.

Pheno-Inspect Is Now a FarmBlick System Partner

Through our new partnership with FarmBlick, we are making the process from drone image acquisition to implementation on agricultural machinery even easier.

The workflow becomes fully digital:

  • Drone → AI analysis → Application map → FarmBlick → ISOBUS terminal

You capture your field by drone and analyse the imagery in FarmAnalyzer™. The resulting application maps can be integrated into the machinery workflow via the FarmBlick Community and transferred to compatible ISOBUS terminals.

This connects Pheno-Inspect’s high-resolution field and individual-plant analysis with FarmBlick’s digital machinery workflows. Farmers, agricultural contractors and drone service providers can therefore use the information generated with FarmAnalyzer™ more easily to implement specific measures in the field.

What’s New in FarmAnalyzer™

Our platform continues to evolve as well. The latest updates introduce several features designed to make working with drone data and AI analyses even easier.

Provide Feedback on AI Analysis Directly

You can now provide feedback on AI analysis results directly within the map. This makes it easier to share anomalies or specific situations in a field directly with our team:

  • Open the relevant survey in FarmAnalyzer™

  • Select the relevant result on the left

  • Open the result menu using the three dots “⋮”

  • Click “⚐ Report a problem”

You can then briefly describe the issue and mark the affected locations directly on the map. The report is sent directly to our team and helps us continuously improve the quality of our analyses.

Fly Selected Sub-Areas

If a field consists of several sub-areas or is divided, for example, by a no-fly zone, FarmAnalyzer™ automatically creates separate flight plans. You can now choose which sub-areas you actually want to fly.

This allows you to capture only the relevant areas and avoid unnecessary flight time. We recommend a minimum size of 0.5 hectares per sub-area.

Download a PDF Application Report

For crop protection applications, you can now create a compact PDF application report directly in FarmAnalyzer™. The report can be used as a supplement to your own documentation or shared with your customers.

The one-page report provides a clear summary of the key information relating to the application map. You can optionally add further details such as the crop protection product, authorisation number and application rate.

For agricultural contractors and drone service providers in particular, this provides a simple and professional way to document the completed application.

Especially for Agricultural Contractors: FarmAnalyzer™ Without an Additional Overview Flight

Want to avoid travelling to the field twice? We are currently testing new approaches that allow FarmAnalyzer™ to be used without an initial overview flight. The aim is to avoid additional trips and drone flights.

Initial experimental features are already available in selected regions.

Are you an agricultural contractor and interested in testing the new workflow as a pilot user?

New Opportunities for Drone Service Providers

Do you already provide drone services to farms, or would you like to expand your services to include AI-based field analysis?

You can now indicate in FarmAnalyzer™ that you operate as a drone service provider:

  • Open “Organisation” in the user menu at the bottom left

  • Then select “Farm”

  • Under “Business type”, tick “Drone service provider”

If we have not contacted you yet, please also email contact@phenoinspect.de with your full name and the area in which you provide your services.

We will review your request and then add you to our FarmAnalyzer™ Pilot Community. When we receive relevant enquiries, we can connect interested farms with drone service providers in their region.

At the same time, FarmAnalyzer™ allows you to expand your existing drone services with additional digital services – from crop emergence and stand monitoring to weed, stress and crop damage mapping, all the way to ready-to-use application maps.

And you do not need expensive specialised drones or proprietary camera systems.

Try It Now

Whether you need a quick assessment of winter cereal stands, detailed weed mapping or ready-to-use application maps, FarmAnalyzer™ turns your drone imagery into actionable information and practical tools for crop management within just a few hours.

Capture fields. Analyse plants. Take targeted action.
